Green, Green, Everywhere

It’s almost that time of year. Summer. It’s such a glorious season. In Utah it feels like we go straight from cold and wet to hot and dry. I’m all about my food, so I’m mostly just excited for our weekend barbecues. This year we’re growing our peppers, tomatoes, and herbs. I’ve got more going than just this photo, because there’s nothing so good as homegrown tomatoes sliced and covered in salt and pepper.

Let there be salsa and cilantro ranch to slather over everything. We’ve even got some mint going for tea. So we had snow last week. I won’t hear such dirty words anymore. There’s this rumor we are finally getting sun in the coming days. I’m clearly ready.
